| Описание | В далёком будущем, Земля сражается и проигрывает в освободительной войне против пришельцев известных, как Глорфты. Чтобы спасти планету, людям удаётся украсть гигантского робота-прототипа у Глорфтов. Они модифицируют его и переименовывают в Мегас (Механизированная Боевая Система Защиты Земли). Единственной надеждой было отправить Мегас в решающую битву, которая прошла несколько лет назад, в которой проиграли земляне, чтобы победить и предотвратить угрозу уничтожения Земли. Случайно машина времени Мегаса отправляет сам Мегас в 20-ый век в Нью-Джерси, где он будет валяться на свалке, пока его не найдут два неудачника, Куп и Джейми в 2000 году. Куп «модифицирует» Мегас и добавляет к его названию Экс Эл Ар (Очень Большой робот). Кива возвращается во времени, чтобы вернуть Мегас, но когда она обнаруживает, что теперь управлять Мегасом не может, она с сожалением соглашается тренировать Купа пилотированию Мегаса |
